Vintage French Metal "Letter" Stencils

These gorgeous vintage French stencils, made from a thin brass-coloured metal, were once used to embroider monograms onto French household linen, such as tablecloths, sheets and pillowcases.

Materials: brass-coloured metal

Measurements: Letter "R" 7.5cm x 6cm; Letter "C' and "Y" 6cm x 6cm 

Condition: Each stencil has a lovely vintage patina with some tarnish and tiny dents in places. The small holes on each stencil were used to hold them in place while stitching and are not an imperfection.
