Pair of Vintage French Aluminum Gooseneck Lamps

A near-matching pair of vintage French aluminium gooseneck lamps with base switches, sourced from an historic rural village in the South of France.  

We have refurbished and rewired these lamps to meet Australian/NZ standards, with a 2m retro-inspired cord which is very close to the original (flat white with a grey edge detail and a white plug). Perfect as a pair of bedside lamps, or to use in your office or studio for a wonder vintage retro vibe. 

Materials: Vintage aluminium circa 1940-1950s; one lamp has a black base switch and the other has a white base switch; new cords and AU/NZ plugs. Original French globes will be supplied but can be swapped out. 

Measurements: Approx. 45cm from edge of shade to edge of base when in a bent position as per photographs; shade on each is 13cm wide; base on each is 11cm wide.

Circa: 1940-1950s

Condition: In lovely vintage condition. Some slight scratches and a small dent here and there, but hey, they are French and have lived a previous life....so what's not to love?!
