Vintage Apprentice Chest of Small Drawers

A vintage apprentice chest of small drawers with aged brass knobs, perfect for your bedroom, bathroom, home office, kitchen or studio to store all those bits and bobs you need to hide away! So many uses for this rare piece of history.

Materials: Timber, Aged brass knobs, tacks and old nails

Measurements: 33.5cm tall x 20cm wide x 18.5cm deep (exterior); larger drawers are 16cm wide x 12.5-13cm deep; the top two smaller drawers are 6cm wide.

Condition: Good rustic condition; one small piece of timber is lifting but secure on one back top corner of the cabinet; some residue of ink-like substance in corner of bottom drawer which does not affect the integrity of the piece. 

History: Small-scale versions of cabinet furniture were sometimes made by apprentice craftsmen to demonstrate their technical skills.
