Vintage RARE Fowler Ware Jug - White

A gorgeous R. Fowler Australia all-white ironstone banded jug. 

This one is a generous size, and is perfect for storing your vintage utensils, cutlery, freshly cut blooms from your garden or for serving up water for the table. These timeless beauties are rare, and for good reason. Who on earth would part with one? We must be mad! Size 24 marked on base.

Materials: Ironstone pottery

Measurements: 14cm high; 18cm spout to handle; opening is 14cm wide

Condition: In lovely vintage condition, with appropriate signs of use/wear. Some tiny nibbles at the spout. No cracks or crazing.

Circa: 1930s-1940s

Maker: R Fowler, Australia (established in Sydney, Australia in 1837). Maker's mark to base.
