Vintage Metal Wool Bale Stencil XL

Rare XL Australian metal/tin wool bale stencil featuring numbers 0-9. 

History: Wool bale stencils were usually made of tin, zinc, copper or aluminium. To make a mark, the stencil plate was held against the bale containing wool, with paint or ink brushed across onto the course hemp or flax material.

Measurements: 50.5cm tall x 37cm wide

Condition: In excellent vintage condition with only very minor signs of rust.
